Yes it does. The odious trafficker of horse-for-meat-destined-to-French-market is now punished in its Daimler: |

It's a Jag, not a Daimler. Was made before Daimlers became rebadged luxury Jags. |

G-MANN (… but… why do I have to shout like this?… Oh…) well, G-MANN, this could very well be a Jaguar. It just reminded me of a Daimler but, identifying the cars the way I usually do, you know, well, I probably made my umpteenth mistake. |

For Didier: always, on any Daimler, even the buses, the fluted top on the radiator..... Link to "www.prewarcar.com" -- Last edit: 2014-08-17 15:51:47 |

Extrait de mon journal intime / classeur de photos : 012133,47 Jag* blanche, au f 012357 dét (insigne?) du 3° cam.** 012411 le 1°** (face, sombre) 012449,51,2 la "Jag" (une Daimler?)** bien 012536 le 1° cam*** pas mal=F 012543 la Daimler** [PTA490]=F+(C) First, I took it for a Jaguar. Then I doubted — no mascot seeable. And finally, the error, the horror: I decided, since there was no jaguar on the bonnet (and since I know nothing about history of the two brands) that it should be a Daimler. This "fluted top" is a very memorizabe hint for me, I hope. Thank you, John. |

You are welcome. Not for Cannstadt-Daimler, of course. http://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gottlieb_Daimler |
