Giron V? The video has obviously been made in Cuba. Giron is the Cuban license taker of Ikarus. They modified a quite large number of details over the years (roof, air intake/grille, lights...). While I can read "giron" rather well, the number is guessed. Giron took latin numbers (I...X etc.) for their models. -> http://busexplorer.com/WorldBus/Ikarus-Text.html -- Last edit: 2006-12-11 01:28:22 |

It might well be a Girón VI, which is a minibus with coachwork using Ikarus components: http://www.sa-transport.co.za/buses_and_coaches/overseas/giron_cuba_kr.JPG (photo) http://www.sa-transport.co.za/buses_and_coaches/overseas/os.html (information) |

I played around a little with image manipulation software (AKA Gimp, Photoshop etc.) - might well be a "VI", not a "V". Let's agree on a Girón VI. |

Would the origin be Cuba or Hungary - Made For Cuba? |

Je ne sais pas si le bus est Giron, mais les filles, elles, sont très girondes... |
