Any shot of the front? |

Yes there was, but I no longer have the movie in my possession... The grille was a honeycomb checkerboard pattern, does that mean it was a Reliant? |

The metal trim around the woodgrain would make it a Reliant (The Aries has faux-wood trim surrounds). The black bodyside trim would indicate a 1985+ version, and it looks like it has the 1985+ bumpers, so I think Karoomay was asking to pin down the year. Was the front end the more rounded 1985+ model or the boxy 1981-84 version? -- Last edit: 2014-08-27 01:59:54 |

Found a YouTube clip of it here: http://youtu.be/8R7dLxVzONM?t=3m44s It definitely has the 1985+ Reliant front. Also Terra, always try to capture useful shots (e.g. front, back, sides, etc.) of a car seen in a movie instead of relying on one image because more images usually help to narrow down identification. -- Last edit: 2014-08-27 02:24:13 |
