Plate ZWI635 returns: 2013 "Titanium". VIN (MPB1XXMXB1DP34680) returns: built: April 29, 2013, 2.0L Duratec DI TI-VCT (160PS), 6 Speed Auto Transmission DPS6, "Ingot Silver" metallic paint, "Charcoal Black / Torino Leather" interior. According to the VIN, this is made in Thailand (Ford Focuses in Australia switched production from Germany to Thailand in the middle of 2012). -- Last edit: 2021-05-24 01:23:44 |

Indeed a Titanium trim. But why do you get a 2.0 Duratec engine, instead of the more powerful and more efficient EcoBoost engines? |

The EcoBoost engines will be coming here in the 2015 facelift. They are not available currently because we get the model from Thailand. The 2.0L GDI engine puts out 125 kW (168hp/170ps) which is more than enough power for most people. EDIT: Ford Australia have just announced that the new facelift Focus will arrive in the 2nd half of 2015, with a 1.5L Ecoboost engine replacing the previous 1.6L and 2.0L (GDI) engines. It will be the only engine offered. There will be no 1.0L Ecoboost, and the diesel engine has also been dropped. Focus sales have slumped to very low levels here in Australia in recent years. -- Last edit: 2019-11-14 20:31:11 |
