London Transport 1812 (HYM 812), an MCCW bodied BUT 9641T new to Fulwell depot in September 1948. 1812 operated the last trolleybus journey between Uxbridge to Hanwell Broadway on 8 November 1960, and remained in service until 31 January 1961. Later in the year, 1812 was shipped to Spain and became No. 8 in the Santander-Astillero fleet. In 1977, 1812 was purchased for preservation by the British Trolleybus Society, her restoration being completed in 2001. |
