dsl ◊ 2014-09-18 21:38	I never liked it - too flabby and barge-like. But Corgi and Dinky both did very desirable models when I was a young'un.
johnfromstaffs ◊ 2014-09-18 23:26	I drove quite a few miles as chauffeur to my boss in his 420G, the Mk X on steroids, with the weird Adwest power steering. With the engine in E-type standard of tune it went very well, but had some appetite for petrol. He decided to replace it with a 4.2 litre XJ6 Mk II, but had a long wait for delivery, so bought a Citroen DS23 Pallas. That was a nice car, but the XJ was excellent, when it eventually arrived.
