stacked headlights and tandem real axles. CLT-9000. Can't see a blue oval or not. |

The blue oval would more than likely above the grille. |

What's the difference between CL and CLT http://dailydieseldose.com/ford-cl-9000-the-inside-edition/ ? |

Thank you for the link. I have two scale model kits of the CL-9000 with quad headlights and tandem rear axles and, while looking for reference photos, I have wondered what the real difference was with the CLT-9000. If I understand correctly, the CLT is a tougher version with tandem axles. |

1978-1980 Ford CLT-9000, The Blue Oval didn't start until the Middle of 1980, If I got down to it, this one would of been probably most likely an early 1980 Model as the longer wheel base with the longer fuel Tanks and the 4 Strap Fuels with two of them put together to look like 2 Strap Fuel Tanks and the only year the Fuel Tank Straps were like that were for the Early 1980 Model's, So, We were to get right down to it, I'd most likely say this is an 1980 Ford CLT-9000 and anyone that wants to know, I come from a Ford Family that has a liking to Ford Big Rig's as far as my Father's side goes and my father's driven about 6 These in his 21 Years of driving |
