Subject car is a 22nd Series (1948-early 1949) Super Eight Deluxe extended wheelbase model. Note it lacks the Custom Eight's eggcrate grille but the belt chrome runs all the way to the lower windshield moulding, a feature not found on the Standard or Deluxe Eights. Well, Packard built both 7 passenger and limo versions. Can't tell from photo. Suggest we leave it as sedan. |
