On your link it is described as a 1976 (I guess that the title is a mistake) -- Last edit: 2006-12-20 10:32:37 |

'76 had rectangular headlights (as did most of GM's full-size line). I believe Cadillacs were the only GM division with rectangular headlights in '75. |

No, all divisions had them in 1975. The Pontiac Bonneville and Grand Ville had rectangular headlights while the Catalina still had round headlights. The new 1975 Pontiac Sunbird had rectangular headlights too. The Buick Electra, Riviera and SkyHawk also had rectangular headlights in 1975 (see my profile page for a picture of my 1975 Electra with rectangular headlights) The Olds 98, Regency and Starfre also had rectangular headlights and so did the Chevrolet Monza. In 1976, there were still a few GM full size cars with round headlights: The Chevrolet Bel Air and Pontiac Laurentian (both models were available in Canada in 1976) and the Chevrolet Impala. See the 1976 Laurentian on this page http://www.fedrelandsvennen.no/amcar/grom/g108.html |
