Weren't Rover models called only with the series name (200, 400, 600) with the displacement as additional info after MY 1998? I mean for example, in a case such this one, 400 2.0i. I remember once I read abouth this. Indeed on the back of later cars there is only the '400' badge instead of for example 420i ![]() Compare: 1995-1998: http://www.sparefinder.net/admin/Categories_Products/images/17314433_3X.JPG 1998+ https://image-cdn.beforward.jp/backoffice/uploads/stock/BF29801_4.jpg -- Last edit: 2017-10-30 18:42:52 |

Badges changed but seems the branding did not, cf 1999 200 brochure:![]() Different models seem to have lost the specific badges at different points, too. |
