By the types of cars it can be Argentina indeed. Did the US Chevy II or any of its clones had such overriders? Similar ones were to meet in the Argentinian "400" for sure /vehicles.php?make=&model=chevy+II&page=2 No idea what was the original name of this event, but in the 1960s there was something what was known e.g. in Polish as "Race of the Great prize of Argenitina" - a ca 3300 km long rally. |

I think yes - must be this. The month from one of the linked descriptions fits. It is written that it ended on 7 November 1964 and in the 1960s car magazine, I own, it is possible to read, that the event lasted about a month and its start was at the begining of october (it was exactly about the 1967 edition in this case). |
