Entered as single deck, but could also be double deck - nothing onscreen to decide. |

IMHO it's too long to be a double decker. Alexander ALX 200 (or 300) body on some chassis. |

Similar to this, this is a Alexander ALX300 bodied MAN A69. The hub reduction driving axis is from MAN. -- Last edit: 2014-11-18 11:01:26 |

So merge with /vehicle_750641-MAN-18220-M2000-1999.html ?? |

Sorry, what is merge? I only know what is MAN A69 / 18.220. Nothing about MAN M2000... -- Last edit: 2014-11-18 14:16:19 |

"merge" means move both buses onto one page if they are same model, instead of having 2 separate pages. We now have 4 of these MAN M2000 / A69 / 18.220 buses with various diferent names to resolve. M2000 comes from number plate information - 3 of them are described as So far we have no sign of A69 apart from your comments, and no other examples among our other MANs. We have lots of M2000 across all types. |

Plate info for commercial vehicles seems to be a mess. Maybe 'MAN M2000' is a bit like 'Ford Cargo 1615' or 'Dennis Elite MS LN 1516'? M2000 seems to be a truck model and not a bus chassis. |

I would suggesting renaming all four as 'MAN 18.220 Alexander ALX300 [A69]'. To my knowledge, the MAN designation of 18.220 refers to a maximum gross weight (GVW) of 18 tonnes and a power output of 220bhp. This is the case for all models, for example, the 18.240 chassis would have a GVW of 18 tonnes and 240bhp. A69 is the MAN type designation for these chassis'. In the UK at least, they are most commonly referred to by the chassis designation, in this case 18.220. |

And just realised there's a definite absence of stairs ..... maybe only a small detail but I guess it could be important. Done for all 4. Any other stragglers which can now join the family? |

Thanks. This one should also be renamed. |
