1962-1965 220 SE Cabriolet [W111]? |

It's painted in colour code 463, copper metallic (GER: Kupfer), available 1963-65 http://w111.se/Teknik_W111_Color.html . That information together with the fact that it doesn't have chromed wheel arches and a chrome strip at waist (excludes 300 SE) and that the film was made in 1965 (excludes 250 SE) makes me believe this is a 1963-65 Mercedes 220 SEb Cabriolet [W 111.023] http://wiki.mercedes-benz-classic.com/index.php/Kategorie:W110/W111/W112 . |

Sure it is a 220 SE. To be a 250 SE the hubcaps would be the same, but the 14"wheels were fitted with a single ring and we could see the colour of the car in the wheel. Here a 250 SE black with the colour very clear in the wheel. Link to "aardvarkprops.com" -- Last edit: 2014-12-03 00:29:33 |
