Filmed in 1991 and Kia Pride first sold from August 1991 so possibly a bit early for one? Mazda 121 then? |

A rainy day in Aberystwyth .... been there, done that. Soggy fish'n'chips, getting soaked along the promenade and pier, going up the Constitution Hill viewpoint funicular and just seeing lots of shades of grey (probably at least 50), sitting in the Hunter waiting for the rain to stop ..... |

In Wales probably the rain is not that annoying as in Scotland. When were sitting in my K 70 waiting for the rain to stop to visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caerlaverock_Castle (CGI-fake already IMCDb-listed: http://pics.imcdb.org/0is688/decoyb001232c12.4609.jpg ) it was raining even inside. The window-rubber... Or the Hunter is a better car than the K 70. |

I quote: ".. waiting for the rain to stop"- that probably took quite a while in a knackered Hunter with its leaking window sealing... |

I had four Hunters in a row, all bought new, and nursed my father-in-law's Humber Sceptre, also bought new, until it collapsed with rust. While they always started and went where you wanted to go, they were hardly the most exciting cars and I would have liked a K70 by way of a change, but always needed a shooting brake. The engine in the second Hunter blew up at 30k miles, failed oil pump, and the first car ate its gearbox, maybe the four wheeled horse trailer full of kit that I used to tow was a bit much. -- Last edit: 2014-12-06 13:53:36 |

These are definitely Mazda 121 rear lights. I know it was sold from 1988 onwards in Belgium, maybe the same in Great-Britain ? |

Well, at the K 70 this problem appears not only at knackered clunkers, it appears since the first day. Years ago, on a club-meeting, hold in the VW-Salzgitter-plant, one former worker told us, that they always problems with leaking window-rubbers. Sometimes the production stopped, because the reworking took so much time. |

If it were an early Kia Pride it would probably have had the whitewall tires? ![]() |
