T-1000. |

Probably around a 1985, but what year did they drop the "T" and called it simply 1000? |

Since 1982(Pontiac-badged Chevette, arrived late when production goes by) |

I'm surprised this car wasn't given to Robert Patrick in 'Terminator 2'. Then the characters would have something more to be afraid of. The T-1000, and his trusty sidekick, the Pontiac T-1000 hatchback!! |

If names mean everything, this is the most badass car ever. |

Yeah it really fits in with Pontiac's "Excitement Division" image lol. |

I was thinking Pontiac Acadia. |

You mean Acadians (or something like that.) That was a Canadian only version of the Chevette. In the US it was the T1000. Acadia is GMC's new crossover SUV. |

I agree! |

Pontiac made the same "excitement" mistake with the '09 G3. It's only a rebadged Chevy Aveo. |

Yep, and now its dead... I guess you can't make the same mistake twice. |

I am still keeping an eye on Pontiac G3 in imcdb.org and so far I have yet to find one |

The G3 has been a prize on The Price Is Right a couple times recently. It makes me laugh. |

looks like it has the 81-82 taillights. |

It does. However, 1981 models don’t have bumper end caps which the above model has. 1981 brochure page: 1982 brochure page: Note the black caps on the bumper which came for 1982. |
