CVA 801 = 1946 Lanarkshire plate. Anyone want to be brave and say this is a 1946 truck, or is it just a 1946 registration of an older WW2 disposal??

One of the last Edinburgh trams being taken to the James N. Connell scrapyard at Coatbridge to be broken up, so a 1946 Lanarkshire issue plate of an older WW2 disposal would seem likely.

Registered as CVA801, and an ex MOD heavy gun tractor, is seen arriving with its load of an...." for this page on SCRAN - http://www.scran.ac.uk/database/record.php?usi=000-000-706-112-C with a tiny thumbnail of a b/w postcard which looks like a tram on the back. But I can't open it or get the full description ... [Image: smiley-angry015.gif]
