![]() ![]() F = Jönköpings län Not sure about this one. It's the 1955 Plymouth body and it appears to have the long side trim that cut through the fuel door. That trim was used on 1955 Plymouth Belvedere, 1955 Dodge Mayfair and 1955 De Soto Diplomat but neither of those had this trunk badge. Any ideas? |

^that trunk lid badge was used when the car came with an inline six. By the way what do you mean by "long side trim that cut through the fuel door" the fuel door was on the passenger side. |

Probably not just made for Sweden, but assembled in Sweden as CKD at ANA, Nyköping. I believe the small sign just to the right of the left over rider, indicates it's a Taxi. That wouldn't be unlikely as most U.S cars sold in Sweden up until the 70's were used as Taxi's, although some were used by district majors and a few MD. |

License plate F32308. F = Jönköpings län![]() Confirmed now to be a 1955 Plymouth. Owned in 1958 by taxi owner R Karlsson at Lärlingsgatan 4A in Jönköping. |
