1953 Komatsu 300 Grader. Caterpillar didnt start manufacturing its vehicles in Japan until 1962, And if they did, It would be sold under a Komatsu model name, Like 300 -- Last edit: 2007-05-17 17:55:28 |

I think this has been MIS ID on this website in history section there is no such thing as 300 instead they had GD designation http://www.kenkenkikki.jp/museum/j_1950.html further the main beam doesn't match with those of early Komatsu instead if matches perfectly with CAT from that period including the 3 parts windshield like Ralph suggested compare http://www.purplewaveauction.com/i/a/2011/20110414construction/8408.JPG so I suggest to put this as Caterpillar unknown -- Last edit: 2014-03-18 00:00:14 |

Cat could be a 112, 212 or 12. I never saw engine side covers on an old Cat grader. |
