The crane seen above is a Grove crane; however its the full cabin model; as Grove had other half cabin models for which they were sp famous. There are about two or three cranes like the one in the photograph above, and I i'll manage to photograph them I'll put a couple of pictures of them over here. |

Thanks! I'm curious, because I can only find pictures of Grove cranes with headlight in the bumper. |

Hi! Nice to meet you! I know; this model was in fact not manufactured in the same amounts like the other Grove models and its hard to find like them. Even Coles were renowned for producing cranes with headlamps in the bumper. Hydrocons were usually famous for experimenting with new designs and having the headlamps incorporated into the cabin-front itself. Moreover Hydrocons had fibre-glass cabins and this made it easier to experiment with shapes. Have you got any Hydrocon crane pics? |
