Other newsvans not included are two 1980's Ford Econoline/E-series, a newer Dodge Ram Van and a 1991-2006 Ford Econoline. |

They didn't do a good job at using mostly 1970's vehicles. When Ron Burgandy talks to the biker, a red Ford E-350 drove by in the background. |

Carfan, this was because the scene was shot using the very low budget method of "Give the guy a wireless mike and cut out as much sound as you can and i'll sit here in the passengers seat." |

Well, they had E-350's back then. Just not any from the current generation of Econolines, like that one. |

Perfect paint job, funny 70's look. |

Anyone else think of that Saul Bass-designed United Airlines livery during the late 70's early 80's? ![]() -- Last edit: 2012-06-22 01:32:57 |

Found this van at Picture Car Warehouse: http://picturecarwarehouse.net/cars/4222/dodge/news-van/ listed as a 1981 model which would make it a Ram Van since that was the first MY for Dodge vans to carry that name. It makes me wonder if they will reuse this van in Anchorman 2. -- Last edit: 2013-02-27 23:11:34 |

Well, unlike what I thought over a year ago, this news van was not used in the sequel. |

Is the reason that isn't added to the main page because it was an unintended error? |
