The tracks are wrong for a Chieftain based conversion, I would say it was probably done on an M60 made to look like an M1A2 Abrams as that was what was used in the second gulf war. |

There's a BTS image that shows that the tank is a M60 Patton which has been disguised with CG in post-production to look like a M1A1. Presumably this was one of the scenes that was filmed in Morocco where a M60 would be readily available. A similar trick was used in "Green Zone" to disguise UH-1 Hueys as UH-60 Blackhawks.
