MisterZ ◊ 2016-05-03 13:07	2006+ [SY] due to the updated tailgate: On 2004-2005 models, the very bottom portion of the tailgate was made of plastic, and stuck out, flush with the rear bumper. It was either painted or unpainted, depending on grade. From about mid-2006, the bottom part of the tailgate was now made of metal (integrated into the tailgate itself), was painted on all grades, and didn't stick out as far, meaning it was no longer flush with the rear bumper. -- Last edit: 2016-05-04 15:54:31

From about mid-2006, the bottom part of the tailgate was now made of metal (integrated into the tailgate itself), was painted on all grades, and didn't stick out as far, meaning it was no longer flush with the rear bumper.
