This black stylish B-pillar makes it an even later car. I think after at least 2000 or 2001. My mother was at the point of buyng a Ford Ka early in 2000 and the ones at the dealership were the older style but even in a more expensive version with body painted bumpers but the old style B-pillar. Then she changed idea and shifted for a Nissan Micra. Better idea as this Micra still survives virtually as new (My mother uses it not a lot but doesn't pay any atention for avoiding holes on the streets or steps. -- Last edit: 2015-01-24 13:27:55 |

UK had Oct 99 Millennium edition (1000 cars only) based on Ka 3 with "Millennium Yellow" as only colour, alloys, air con, leather seats, etc. |

My aunt owns one in Millennium Yellow, but with no alloys, and if I'm not wrong with black bumpers: it should be a special edition (maybe Collection?). Anyway, later MK1 Kas are much more reliable: one of the most significative signs is that the black plastic bumpers don't lose colour as like the ones of the earliest ones. Another aunt of me owns a later Ka MK1 with plastic bumpers and they are black as like the first day, but it's not unusual to see earlier Kas with grey faded bumpers. |
