***, used by Dom in a chase. The one from Tokyo Drift appears in the background in another scene (the race in the garage is not shown, however).

I am crying about the physics they used in this movie
Heavy front crash.....and no injuries and broken glass all around because of the shock wave.

Neither of the pillars are damaged. It'll cost a fucking lot, but it's probably repairable...

I heard they used a real Plymouth. Moviemakers these days... they have no hearts *starts crying* But hey, at least they made up for it by destroying that ugly offroad charger. Wait, they used a real Charger for that scene?!?! *cries even more*

Saw this car and the Barracuda at Universal Studios Florida when it came out. After watching the movie, I was depressed to see it get destroyed.

I just found the picture car is currently for sale through Gateway Classic cars in Detroit. A picture of the data plate is included, so I decoded it:

----------------------------------------

Plymouth Belvedere,Satellite
Medium, Road Runner
2 Door Coupe

N0G: 383 330HP OR 335HP 1-4BBL 8 CYL
1970
St. Louis, MO, USA

213876: Sequence number

E63: 383 cid 4 barrel V8 H.P. 335hp
D32: Heavy Duty Automatic Transmission
FK5: Dark Burnt Orange Metallic Exterior Color
H2K4: Trim - High, Vinyl Bench Seat, Burnt Orange
FK5: Dark Burnt Orange Metallic Int. Door Frames
401: Build Date: April 01
291383: Order number

FK5: Dark Burnt Orange Metallic Top Color
A87: Road Runner Decor Package
G33: LH Remote Racing Mirror
J25: 3 Speed Wipers
M21: Roof drip rail moldings
R11: Radio Solid State AM (2 Watts)

V21: Performance Hood Treatment
V6Y: Longitudinal Stripes, Yellow
V8W: Tranverse Stripes, White
Y16: Sales Bank
END: End of Sales Codes

----------------------------------------

So the main car is an actual Road Runner, albeit an originally low-optioned 383/automatic car, and surprisingly it's even in its factory Burnt Orange color. The original factory graphics (black V21 hood stripe, white V8W tail stripe, and yellow V6Y "Coyote duster" side stripes) seem like a strange combination, though.
