It is a Bentley "TURBO R" (Watch the smaller plaque on the right side of the boot) |

When did Bentleys start having a winged B logo badge on the back instead of a rectangular one similar to RR Silver Spirits/Spurs? |

I've been thinking about this too, unfortunately I've not had much luck finding anything out. I've seen 1985 cars with different badges and later ones still with the rectangle. It seems it might be one of those details that people change on their cars like with round/rectangle lights (but it really makes little sense why, as it's only a badge). |

Sometimes badges get pinched. |

Winged boot badge from Jan 89 when twin headlights introduced. Range at that point was Eight, Mulsanne, Turbo R. |

Thanks, although by 1989 it was Mulsanne S ![]() |

But as it's so commonly changed between cars I don't think we should base choosing a year around it (unless the car is fairly contemporary for the movie/ep date). |

What about the French plate (looks like 241HYT75) can we tell from that? |

Pre-1992 (French plates were black until then). |

Looks like a vinyl roof from trim at window base? |
