Willys built 45,000+ models of M38 between 1950-52 based on the CJ3A. Beginning 1953 the M38A1 was produced which is quite different with its round hood and round fenders. |

I have seen M38 production figures ranging from 45473 for 1950-52 by Willys (plus early development models) to 62329 for the years 1949-52.
