![]() ![]() My biggest surprise of the film - finding one of these in Aus. No confirmation yet of local assembly, but would be surprised if imported due to costs, particularly against the extensive local assembly saloon versions, which included Imp Sport as in left of main. Red car between them is local build Cortina Mk1 GT, but not a GT500. |

The Hunter /vehicle_449485-Hillman-Hunter-Royal-HC-Arrow-1969.html might be Bria and Judy's. -- Last edit: 2015-05-18 20:28:08 |

Apparently there are 4 Imp vans in Aus, all private IMPorts as never sold there, including this one owned by Ken Strange of Victoria![]() taken from this feature. Has been slightly tweaked - 4 lights, alloys etc and given windows. Not a Husky as the windows aren't sliders, and the front trim is basic 1969+ Imp (so 1969 Hillman here, not previous Commer); Husky had Super Imp front trim. Doesn't solve the question whether there were Aus-build Huskys, but the lack of any mention in that Shannons clip suggests not. So the Killer Elite example becomes either an official import if they were sold in Aus or a private one. |
