 Left one is Trabant 603. Right one should be Lada 2102 or so.

 The lada is already listed.
You are sure for "Trabant 603" ? On Google Image I find lots of images with "Trabant Kombi" but nothing that looks like this one with "Trabant 603".

 The black/white picture is one of a prototype that never made it into mass production. As much as I know, thw official name was 603, while everybody - inofficially ;)) - calls it a "Kombi".
Well, it seems like I have to watch out for one. They are getting scarce even here in eastern Germany...

 This is a 1989, it can´t be older as the plastic air grilles on the c-style came out first in 1989.

 Where is the location? I remember this place from annother movie, which shall be set in Eastern Europe :??:
There we had discussed about a Lada 1200 Combi, if I'm correct. And there was annother Trabant in the background.

Here, too - funny, that the yellow/brown 601 Kombi here has a American-style plate-holder. :D

Am I right, that this location was in Canada? Then the cars seen here, are private imports.

 I believe it pretends to be Berlin, but it is Montreal. The blue Kombi also has a very odd licence plate :/

 Yes, the plate shall be an GDR one.

This location in Montreal is visible in annother movie, which shall be set in the Soviet Union. Including goofs like annother Trabant - which was never available in the SU.

 Trabants... There seem to be as many variations as there are actual cars. Were no two built the same ? LOL.

I have two... Only three years apart, so much the same, so utterly different... Even the Battery voltage is different.
