note the semaphore indicator between the doors, so it would be a 1954 Austin A50 Cambridge. The A 50 had a 1500c.c. engine. The semaphores were replaced a few months after production began, so it provided a good indicator of the year of production. An almost identical A40 with a 1200c.c. engine was available. But the car in the picture looks to be better trimmed so an A50 is probably a better guess. |

It's an A55 MkI, easily identifyable by the rear end styling and the protruding chrome rims around headlights. A40/A50's had a "cow hip" rear end styling |
