![]() I assume this is local made version of Escort Mk6, probably a mildly sporty model, but local info needed. There are at least 3 Leyland Minis in this scrappie, but no useful opportunities for any of them. |

But Australia had the Mazda-based Laser instead of the Escort throughout the 1980s and 1990s, until the Focus came along. |

I'm pretty sure that's a Festiva. |

Seems 94-96 [WB]. 97+ WF had clear indicators |

It's at least a late 1996+ model due to the black plastic trim on the tailgate (previously it was body-coloured). I'm leaning towards this being a later 1997+ model, though, because WB models had the badging higher up, and this has none. This also has the older WB/WD mirrors, so it rules out it being a 1998+ WF. So definitely within the 1996-1997 year range. As the tail-lights have been removed, there is no way of knowing if it has clear indicators or not. They were most likely removed due to their value as spare parts. -- Last edit: 2020-02-17 11:52:41 |

Does the spoiler mean a sporty version? |

There were never any sporty or special editions offered. There was an optional "demon pack" offered in 1998 which had a *roof* mounted spoiler, but this one is totally different. -- Last edit: 2018-10-08 04:49:38 |
