This. |

It will be better if we rename this one to 1980+ Datsun Cedric 280C, as all SU-Cedrics. Example: /vehicles_make-Datsun_model-Cedric+280C.html |

Filmed in Crimea. So, it's the same vehicle. /vehicle_931608-Datsun-Cedric-280C-430-1980.html /vehicle_311143-Datsun-Cedric-280C-430-1980.html /vehicle_682798-Datsun-Cedric-280C-430-1980.html /vehicle_824191-Datsun-Cedric-280C-430-1980.html So, 1980+ Datsun Cedric 280C [430] |

I have high doubts about this "Cedric 280C" name, as well as the "Made for SU" label. Anyone ? |

It's LHD so not a Japanese import. If SU is the correct historical affiliation for Crimea in the 1990s, why not made-for-SU?? Ditto its 1982 cousin. |

For a "Made for ..." badge, there must be a valid reason. Is there something specific about those Datsuns that warrants a "Made for SU" badge ? If not, they're just general export versions. |

It seems to be a unique-for-SU naming permutation. |

I dont think they would did something like this for SU except Nissan President that been made for Brezhnev in 1973. |

Shouldn't these be technically either Cedrics or 280Cs? Not both Cedric and 280C at the same time if this is not a SU-specific naming. Likely only 280C due to LHD as shown by Exiv96. -- Last edit: 2018-12-14 03:53:00 |
