This is going to be difficult...but it has an important role in the movie. |

What's also difficult is that it's a 'car chase' |

1980 Boeing 747-212B |

That thing is worth adding ?? |

Since it's part of the action, yes, but if it was a background vehicle then no way. But it could be very difficult to identify. If this was real life, when that Jumbo really starts to take off that Carrey and the stairs will be blown away and he'll probably break his neck. |

Yeah, if this was a background vehicle or even used in a scene where passengers board or exit a plane, I wouldn't have added it. |

carcrashking explains it all with his three laws for a car chase to be a car chase. |

The Plane is an Airbus A340. |

It's a 747 of some type...note the engine cowl. That's no A340. The Registration N618FF is no longer current...(if it ever was a real registration and not a film add-on). |

Im a plane fan aswell as a car fan, now, how do you identify the year of a plane? That seems to me alot harder to do, |

This is a heavily modified NMC Wollard stair truck. It can be identified by the steel structure under the stairs. The drivers actual position is on the passenger side in the middle of the frame under a small hood to cover his head. More then likely this was the standard TMPS-200 ford f-350 model. Looks like it was changed A LOT , such as the ford body removed , wide low profile tires , and the stairs have had a lot of weight removed. |

I think this does indeed seem MADE FOR MOVIE |

or we could list it as NMC-Wollard, since we now have another vehicle of that make |
