1991-92 (Golf lasted an extra year in the US of course, and what's more, the last two years had no chrome applicants and the smooth bumpers) 90: http://www.a2resource.com/brochures/1990/gti/gti.html 91: http://www.a2resource.com/brochures/1991/golf/golf.html 92: http://www.a2resource.com/brochures/1992/golf/golf.html |

but the 1990's brochure shows the older, smaller bumpers here is a 1990 without the silver bumper trim Link to "poctra.com" -- Last edit: 2023-02-25 19:30:31 |

Uh...come again? You are correct, but I did not say it was a 90. ^that one's clearly been through quite some rough times, entirely possible that the bumper was replaced. That's why I always consult the brochure instead. -- Last edit: 2023-02-25 19:32:58 |

I'm saying 91-92 as those had no chrome, and the larger bumpers. Look, it's simple. Here's a 90, which the main is not, as the 90 has chrome and the old bumpers: http://www.a2resource.com/brochures/1990/gti/photos/2.jpg Now here's a 91, with the new bumper and no chrome, like our example: http://www.a2resource.com/brochures/1991/golf/photos/cover.jpg |

Could the new bumpers be a mid-MY change? |

No, why? We got them for the higher trims in 90 and the US on all trims a year later. Normal procedure. -- Last edit: 2023-02-25 23:44:39 |
