You can see in the movie many times, That it had the Louisville Grill, in the night scene of the big fight with Buck or in the scene as when he was pulling onto the ramp on the highway after leaving the Red River Building when he got that load to Dallas, With the Louisville grill would be 1972 + and the truck was titled as a 1972, bought on the day before Christmas Eve in 1973 by Hollywood Universal Studio Truck Lots, The Went back to work and was sold off by Universal Studio Truck Lots on 1/23/77, Truck had an NTC-350HP Cummins 13 Speed, here's my Brochure's for this Style, The W-1000 and W-9000 were the 5 Whole Disc Trucks, The WT-1000 and The WT-9000 were the 10 Whole Disc Rims Trucks, the Ford WT-9000 didn't come out until the 1974 titled trucks came out after to be the fancier model to the W-9000 after it replaced the W-1000, The WT-1000 became an option for the 1968 Titled Model Trucks came out as an option and were 1968-1971 Model Trucks, the W-1000 either came out in 1965 or 1966 and the last year you can buy one brand new was in 1973, So, to answer anyone's question here, This Truck in the big main picture would be a 1972 Ford W-9000, I got a little past history on the particular truck and know it was titled as a 1972 Model Truck ![[Image: 2015-04-21_20150421_124444.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/14507/2015-04-21_20150421_124444.jpg) -- Last edit: 2015-04-24 04:06:45 |

Some years, searches and readings later... 1974+ cab (no cab corner deflector, long cab handle).
