 I'm thinking 1972.
Note rear door kick-up angle and lack of "CONTINENTAL" front lettering.

 As said here, at least [*][*], as it's obviously seen used by Sgt. Burns (Fred Dryer) to enter the US embassy.

Will change to 1973 pending dissent.

 That's the trailer from which I took the picture that you used to create this page. See my comment in the page of the movie (linked in my comment just above yours)...
So if you see something else in that "new" video that is not in the main picture, there is a problem somewhere :D

In motion, it seems to reveal front lettering.

 It's a 73 all right. The bumper guards are closer to the center on a 72.
