My first attempt to capture it.![]() Of course, back then I forgot that it wasn't a background vehicle. This Imperial was made anywhere between 1957 and 1959. I'm going to try for a shot of the cowl insignia again tonight, if not then tomorrow. -- Last edit: 2015-04-16 00:24:11 |

Earlier night shot on the left, and the cowl insignia during the scene at the gallery owned by Jason Schwartzman's character.![]() ![]() That cowl insignia made me think this was the Crown. -- Last edit: 2015-04-16 14:14:21 |

Looks like it has the LeBaron side emblem. And 1959 can be taken out of the range owing to rear fender trim. Is anyone familiar with wheel cover differences between '57 and '58? |

That's the LeBaron insignia? Hmm. http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1958/Brochure/Page09.jpg Yes, I see that now. And because it's a pillarless sedan, I'm thinking LeBaron Southampton, and strictly a '58. -- Last edit: 2015-04-16 15:43:21 |

Why "strictly a '58"? |

I don't know of any '57's with Continental-style trunk lids: http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1957/Foldout/index.htm#foldout And there's still that cowl insignia. -- Last edit: 2015-05-06 18:11:40 |

Yes, the '57 trunk lid had that option available. Brochure link: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" |

And I can see now that even the Sedans came with them in '57: http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1957/Ads/Chauffeur.jpg |
