From what I'm seeing the T5 only had one set of headlights (it didn't have any in the grille). With the additional pics I'd have to say that this is most likely a mustang. I could be wrong though, as German mustangs were called T5s as to not confuse the car with the krupp mustang. For comparison: Link to "static.cargurus.com" It's a GT model so there are a few differences but overall it's pretty close. -- Last edit: 2015-04-20 21:32:43 |

Unusual badge on the front fender. |

^Possibly a Cobra Jet logo, or homemade lookalike? I doubt the car is a real Cobra Jet. |

The 'lights in the grille' are actually aftermarket ones, like Hella,Cibie or Marchal sold, and are mounted to the bumper. ('Factory' ones are inset to the grille, and spaced differently?) And being Munchen (Munich) it's probably a Mustang that came over with a G.I.? Used Mustangs of this era were (And probably still are!!) very popular among Germans, and truthfully,if you couldn't sell a Mustang/Camaro/Firebird over there back then, you either weren't really trying,or it was such a piece of junk no one wanted it?? |

So do I? Every Cobra Jet 'Stang I ever recall seeing has a hood scoop. This one doesn't. |
