On en voit tout au long du film. Petit détail amusant, à 1h12'50" on peut voir que lors du montage une scène a été inversée (effet miroir) au logo à l'arrière de la voiture : |

Chevrolet Suburban |

Right. Generally, Tahoe is written on doors of the SUV. In this case, it's a Suburban (longer than the Tahoe) |

I found something interesting... Look very (and I mean Very) close at this Suburban, and tell me what is wrong with it. |

Well, wheels are not the same, but that is a common mistake in movies, its not a different SUV is it? i mean another model of another brand? appart from that i think i dont see anything strange in it |

The Suburban used in the crash is a 1992 through 1994 model, Chevrolet Suburban Siverado This has to be one of the best disguised Movie vehicles I have ever seen (with the exception of Classic/Exotic Kit Car Replicas that are used when a movie calls for that type of car to be destroyed) Look at the craftsmanship of the Suburban, particularly the front end. The entire front end was replaced with the 2000 through 2003 model, Suburban grille, hood, front bumper and both left and right fenders. But the disguising doesn’t stop there; look close and you can see 2000 through 2003 model, Suburban outboard side mirrors, running boards, and door trim. They even wired up the head lamps so they would work. To the untrained eye this Suburban looks like a normal everyday 2000 through 2003 model. But even the clever attempt to hide this Suburban’s true identity, falls short for several reasons: -It has the 1992 through 1994 model, Suburban Tail Lamps -It has the 1992 through 1994 model, Suburban Doors & Windows -It has the 1992 through 1994 model, Suburban Door Handles -It has the 1992 through 1994 model, Suburban Body Style -It has the 1992 through 1994 model, Suburban Roof Racks -It has the 1992 through 1994 model, Suburban Interior Styling (Something that even the Special Effects Crew couldn’t hide from view) -- Last edit: 2008-12-25 05:38:37 |

I hate it when they think that the public who watches these movies won't notice something like this. It happens in so many movies. |

Well, I have to admit the Suburban looked quite authentic, and I only noticed it did not look quite right after I made still captures of the crash. So I think the Special Effects team for the movie did a good job on disguising the SUV for the crash scene. -- Last edit: 2007-06-30 05:48:01 |

Yeah, this is the same movie where they forgot to edit out the CN Tower in about half the shots of "Racoon City" |

And where they mirrored a scene, cf my first comment with the "TELORVEHC" label at the rear of the car |

I just noticed the 6 spoke wheels which were only available from '88 to '91. |

I hate the secret corporations that hide everything and doesnt want the people to be ready for disasters |

Funny how the suburban is practically the only vehicle on the road and manages to get hit by a truck. |

Probably because the people picking up the important workers of "Umberalla Corps" were somewhat late trying to pick up one of the workers daughters at school. |

It's just wierd that in a city with thousands of people, there is just Umbrella Corporation's squad of unmarked Suburbans and Expeditions and one civilian in a cement truck, that just happens to be the only other person on the roads. |
