Tricycle for very poorly people. It's apparently Banbury, Oxfordshire. |

Austin A70 van behind it? |

http://www.3wheelers.com/gordon.html I think this is it. It isn't an invalid carriage, it was a tricycle for very poor people. Given the choice at the time, I think I'd have bought a prewar Austin Seven or Morris Eight, the only reasons for buying one of these things, or similar, were if you only had a motorbike license, or if you must have a brand new car. Even then, it would have been no more reliable than a well looked after used car, and a Reliant tricycle was a much better vehicle. -- Last edit: 2015-06-13 08:53:14 |

I think I'm going for Reliant Regal Mk1 - http://www.3wheelers.com/regal.html . Gordon would have been good match except door here has no sign of the big bulge. |

I looked at that as a possibility, but the motorcycle conceals the place where the engine bulge is, and there is no Reliant bonnet mascot, hence I thought Gordon. |

Swithering slightly, but still more convinced of Reliant. |
