1960-66 C-Series with 1960-65 grille lettering, 1962-66 hood and 1964-66 windshield: unless a grille change on a 1966 truck, this one is a 1964-65 model. If I'm not mistaken, it's made on one of the 2 smallest wheelbases: either 115"/2.92 m or 127"/3.23 m (longer models use a 133"/3.38 m or a 157"/3.99m wheelbase). Unlike what would occur with the following generation of C/K-Series, it seems that the 1960-66 Chassis-Cab models used the same "couple" wheelbase / model as did the pickups. So: • if a 115", then the only possibility is a ½-ton 1000; • if a 127", then a "long" 1000 or a ¾-ton 1500. |
