2011+ F-Series Super Duty. The width of the box on the rear tells me it has dual rear wheels, so F-350 or higher. |

It is heaver than F-350 due to 10-lug wheels. |

If it is more than F-350 it can go with other heavy trucks |

Do the "light medium-duty" F-450 and F-550 also use the P473 platform? I don't find any information about it... Almost all heavy-duty trucks in the IMCDb would deserve a Chassis Cab class, even tractors models, as it is the way they are sold ![]() But there is no Trucks, Chassis Cab class, for now. Will there be one one day, antp? It could be more accurate for trucks like the armored ones, or for small models from the Ford F-Series or GM C-Series truck lines when sold as chassis-cab version. -- Last edit: 2015-06-19 05:58:13 |

"simple truck" are most of the time chassis-cab, no? Anyway I'll try to simplify these categories when migrating data to the new version of the site -- Last edit: 2015-06-20 17:35:33 |

That's what I say in the previous comment ![]() This said, light-duty chassis cab trucks, armored heavy ones and some other specific models deserve a specific sub-class, I think, as it's really weird to set them as Cars, Chassis cab. The current classification lacks indeed of a little flexibility: some heavy-duty pickups can't be classified as Cars, Pick-up (GMC Topkick, Ford F-650 Super Duty, International CXT - curb weight: 14,500 lb/6,600 kg!-...) without a huge smile... or wince, depending on the mood ![]() -- Last edit: 2015-06-20 21:27:40 |
