S268 ANV ✔ SORN ✔ MOT Expires: 04 November 2015 Date of first registration :03 September 1998 Year of manufacture :1998 Cylinder capacity (cc) :2198cc Fuel type :PETROL Vehicle status : SORN in place Vehicle colour :BLACK Sport RS was 3 door only, introduced Oct 98 with 2.2 16v, discontinued Nov 01. Also 3.2V6 24v version Sept 00 to April 01, which would be even rarer. I smiled during this sketch when JC got all enthusiastic about its Vectra engine, compared to his famous comments onscreen several years ago about how abysmal Vectras were. |

Hammond: "Oh, a swing-away door, so you can't open it in a supermarket, or a-OH, my G-!" Jeremy: "How happy would you dog be?" Hammond: "All I can hear is the word 'victim'!" |

Interestingly, I think this was a Luton press fleet car originally! The car below (S597 ANV) was a Corsa used in 'Entrapment', and would definitely have been placed by General Motors: /vehicle_318-Vauxhall-Corsa-1998.html This would also tally up with the very early registration date when compared with its introduction (October 1998). |

^ yes gamer. Only the top gear 5 door had a lower serial number that I found thus far. W0L06B1ZCXV600420 W0L = Opel AG 06B = Opel Corsa D - weird the decoder spits this out. This is wrong.. 1 = Luxury model ZC = 2-door X = 1999 V = Luton (IBC Isuzu-Bedford-Corporation Vehicles Ltd.; Great Britain) 600420 = serial number Made 22.07.1998 -- Last edit: 2024-07-22 16:54:01 |
