International 3800 - Thomas Built body |

As 1989-2004 3000-Series model, it could also have been a 1989-94 3700. But the 1995+ hood side emblem indicates indeed that it can't be nothing else than a 1995-2001 3800 (it had a front facelift in 2002 and became the International IC until 2004). -- Last edit: 2015-07-13 22:30:11 |

@eLMeR....as informative as that explanation is...all full-size buses were designated either a 3700 or a 3800... |

... or, in the IMDCDb, as 3000-series if there is no clue to identify it. I think important to explain why this bus can't be nothing else than a 3800, as you didn't do it when you identified it that way. Or i could have set it back as 3000-series If you know how to identify a vehicle then you can explain it. Otherwise, it's just a (probable right. Or wrong) guess. -- Last edit: 2015-07-14 00:38:27 |

Appropriately chastised...Now how about officially making this a Blue Bird... /vehicle.php?id=823631 Here is another example from the database...Yes the Chevy part is newer, but the body is a Blue Bird /vehicle_113356-Chevrolet-B-Series-1984.html -- Last edit: 2015-07-14 00:53:22 |

I didn't intend to chastise anyone, just to "explain my explanations" About the buses bodywork, you know my needs: just provide me some external and readable sources (not just small pictures without explanations), and no problema -- Last edit: 2015-07-14 02:46:46 |

You provided said needs with the 1978 brochure with a Blue Bird bodied bus on the cover..... |

Ok, just to be clear and to put an end to this in this page: • nothing in the 1978 brochure cover I used says "Blue Bird", but... • ... more important: all comment concerning any vehicle other than the one of this page has to be written... in the page of the concerned vehicle. |

Just an opinion, but for future reference, I believe we should list these kind of Type C buses by this body manufacturer, post 1972, as Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner Conventional, since that is what they're called. -- Last edit: 2015-07-14 04:55:45 |

1995 was also the first year for the updated Thomas Built logo |
