And the Hanomag 2/10PS "Kommisbrot" to continue the theme of old, forgotten rear engined cars, since the Imp's opening rear window, while a hatch, is hardly a hatchback. I suppose you could describe the VW type 2 van as an early hatchback. -- Last edit: 2015-07-19 19:14:47 |

I think the current Station Wagon is more precise for the VW, as the roof has its full height all the way. And, yes, you can easily find station wagons that don't. But a hatchback would have a rear door even more tilted, often with a higher rear wall than the station wagon. (Yes that would fit for the VW but still, due to its square shape, it isn't one) |
