This is Leopold Street, South Yarra (in Melbourne), facing north. I immediately recognized the ugly 1960s apartment block in the distance. This is how the street looks today, virtually unchanged since (courtesy of Google Maps):![]() Interesting that in those days, they used to paint squares on the road showing you where not to park (such as in front of a drive-way). We don't have many of those Mk3 Cortina estates from Aus - 74+ grille. Were estates local assembly or import?? And I think it's an Austin Tasman behind the Toyota?? Both could be worth pages, particularly if more views available. |
