The last girl that he abducted, survived and gave the investigators clues to him. But in real life, Bobby Joe Long had a red Dodge Magnum that he used in his spree. His last victim; Lisa McVey (now Lisa Noland) is now a deputy sheriff with the Hillsborough County Sheriff Office. Prior to the spree, Bobby Joe Long was responsible for at least 50 rapes that he committed in Fort Lauderdale, Miami-Dade County, Miami and Ocala in 1981, those charges were dropped when he was granted a new trial.
