This episode was about Bobby Joe Long who was responsible for the murders of 10 women in Tampa, Florida from the 27th March to the 11th November 1984. The last girl that he abducted, survived and gave the investigators clues to him. But in real life, Bobby Joe Long had a red Dodge Magnum that he used in his spree. His last victim; Lisa McVey (now Lisa Noland) is now a deputy sheriff with the Hillsborough County Sheriff Office. Prior to the spree, Bobby Joe Long was responsible for at least 50 rapes that he committed in Fort Lauderdale, Miami-Dade County, Miami and Ocala in 1981, those charges were dropped when he was granted a new trial. He was also responsible for the rape of a young woman that he committed during the robbery of the woman's home in Long Beach, California, but those charges were never pursued by the local authorities. -- Last edit: 2015-12-10 14:38:40 |
