It's a Vedette for sure http://www.philseed.com/simvedette.html , and one made before the 1958 facelift (different overriders). As it has overriders, that excludes the less expensive Ariane. The big question is whether it's a 1955-56 Ford or a 1957 Simca, as it was sold as Ford for a while after Simca bought the Poissy works from Ford. |

(The script 'Vedette' is readable on the rear fender, in the thumbnai. Can't it help to date the car?) -- Last edit: 2015-08-14 16:38:26 |

Vedette Versailles (the Trianon didn't have fog lights, the Régence had different rear fender trim). Impossible to see what year (1955-1957) this is, but in France only the (very few) Vedettes built before the 1st of december 1954 were sold as Ford, almost all were sold as Simca. (Only for export markets the Ford brand was used longer) |

On voit mal si la plaque avant est encastrée, par contre les feux AR sont des feux "tabac" donc c'est une Versailles 56 ou 56. Michel |
