Wow, didn't know they built Renaults. Any link? |

No, I haven't now. There were articles about it in the 'Auto Internationl' magazine. |

How can you tell it's a Star-built one though? |

If they were build by Star it is the most probable that they are form this source in pl. movie. |

Not really. First of all, it is not absolutely certain any Magnum registered in Poland would have automatically been built in Poland, secondly - trucks travel all accross Europe and are shopped cross-border much more often than passenger cars. I believe we need a more clear indication to say this one was built in Poland. Może nie wyraziłem się jasno - nie widzę rejestracji, więc nie jest pewne nawet czy ciągnik jest zarejestrowany w Polsce... -- Last edit: 2007-11-24 19:41:56 |

I'm not talking about all Magnums, but only these old. See here is a newer model about which I'm not sure: /vehicle.php?id=84001 Even if background this truck was involved in action in fake location filmed here. So they've used rather a local vehicle. |

But with this scale of assembly, even a "local" truck does not have to be "locally" built. Secondly, as I said, in the forwarding industry trucks are very often bought elsewhere than they are operated. I believe the field should only serve for more certain cases. |
