here I have to ask the question which is possible to ask in all newer Crown Vics - why exactly 2000? As far as I know, the 1998-today Crown Victoria has no changes on the outside, so how could we know which year exactly is which vehicle? Or am I mistaken? If not, I think, we should list them all as 1998... ![]() |

Possibly because I was randomly putting a year between 1999 and 2003 some time ago for these Crown Victoria, was I never remembered the exact first year ![]() But some are really newer models, I remember some comments about comments posted details allowing to identify newer models. But for this one we could set 1998 until more info is given. -- Last edit: 2006-11-21 20:17:58 |

This is a 1998-2002 model which looks like this: http://www.daw1.com/June06/1998FordCrownVicV4010/a1.JPG \ In 2003 they restlyed the front end to look like this: http://www.canadiandriver.com/news/02images/02newyork/03crownvic_inter.jpg 2003 also saw the addition of a new frame and first-time rack and pinion steering so the 2003-2007 models are significantly different than the 1998-2002. |
