Yes, I think Chevrolet also. Side hood trim is different on GMC. First year of this style is 1941. |

Hood side louvers indicate indeed a 1941-47 Chevrolet Art Deco truck: as said by Big dave, a GMC CC/EC-Series would have a long emblem saying General Motors Truck. This said: • A 1½-ton Heavy-Duty model would have specific wheel rims. • A Three-Quarter-Ton panel would have a longer wheelbase, as short as well as long model: ![]() ![]() ![]() (1941 Chevrolet Truck brochure excerpts: ½-ton, ¾-ton, LWB ¾-ton) In fact, the space between the door and the rear wheel arch looks a lot like the one of a ½-ton model, sold as Light Delivery (1941-42) or 3100 (1946-47). Anyway, all panels of this era are set for now as Chevrolet Panel in the IMCDb, regardless of their ton rating. If sure of a ½-ton model, its Chevrolet model code is 3105. ⇒ 1941 Chevrolet Panel ([3105]?) -- Last edit: 2015-10-01 06:20:00 |
